Imaging Studies
Abiant conducts PET imaging studies to measure
pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties:
- biodistribution / CNS penetration
- receptor occupancy
- functional effect
- endpoint effects
We provide all aspects of study conduct including study design, protocol
development, site selection and validation, subject recruitment, data
collection, data processing, data analysis, and reporting.
Reference Library
We have developed and are continuing to expand a
Reference Library of the CNS glucose metabolic effects
and mechanistic properties of a spectrum of marketed
compounds. This can provide a basis for comparison to
pipeline compounds, and a source of new discovery.
The Library is accessed using Abiant's proprietary
application software.
Data Operations
Our procedures and software are applicable to PET, MRI, and fMRI. Abiant can provide:
- Data processing and analysis of data collected in other studies
- A consolidated framework for data collected using multiple imaging technologies
- Data processing, analysis, and reporting for multi-site studies, with the benefit of standardized
quality controls, centrallized QC and handling, and the use of advanced statistical methods
Collaborative and Academic Programs
Abiant offers special programs for the academic community to facilitate the use of PET imaging for
research purposes. Abiant also collaborates with partners to identify and validate in vivo promising
new compounds and diagnostics.
